CCS’ costs are the best value because CCS keeps your budget and that of your customer in mind.
Two factors determine appraisal costs:
On-site evaluation costs are based on the number of capital items to be appraised and valued. Capital items are those (valued) in excess of $5,000.00, and our fee is based on the number of those assets. Furniture & fixtures, electronic equipment and shop tools are valued free as part of this service. Select pieces, general assemblies or entire facilities can be appraised. Call for a free quote!
Desktop appraisals can cost less, but the appraiser must be provided all necessary information regarding the equipment such as manufacturer, type, year, model number, photographs, etc. These items are appraised on a case by case basis. Call for a free quote!
Without complications, CCS has a quick turn-around time depending on the scope of the appraisal. After the on-site evaluation, the report is usually turned around within 2 weeks. The same turn-around time is offered with desktop appraisals.
Yes. CCS believes that an on-site appraisal is an important part of determining fair market value. A desktop inspection may save costs but may also cause problems if the actual machinery is not physically verified. On-site appraisals give physical evidence from a third party as to condition, existence and value. These, among other benefits, confirm the preference of on-site work to that of a desktop.
CCS serves clients all across the US and Canada.
A brief list of the types of equipment we are comfortable appraising can be found under the tab “Business Types We Appraise”.
CCS appraisers are USPAP and SBA compliant and have many years of experience in various industries. They have attained numerous certifications and been approved by a body of their peers. They uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. Only certified appraisals hold up to the scrutiny of the IRS, bank examiners and the courts. Don’t be caught with less than a CCS certified machine and equipment appraisal!
Community Commercial Services has a team of highly qualified and professional appraisers who are all certified by the National Equipment and Business Brokers Institute.
The final report is a beautifully-bound book displaying a professional look and our seal of certification. Your appraisal will stand up to bank examiners, the courts and the revenue service (IRS). Our report is as strong as it can get, is very effective, and is irrefutable.
There are several reasons a business owner might want an appraisal that is certified. Accountant “Book” values are not market values. How much a piece of machinery is really worth is determined by the market. If you are buying or selling a business or becoming a partner in a business already established, it is good to know the exact values of the tangible assets.
Community Commercial Services delivers reports consistent with the scope of the engagement and your unique business needs.
